My DIY underquilt.

In this video I go over hammock quilt setup for my van hammock.

Step 1: Whip each end of sleeping bag: http://www.animatedknots.com/commonwh...

Step 2: attach to standard hammock setup with underquilt positioned with your core in the main portion of the sleeping bag.

Step 3: Get in hammock.

Step 4: Attach tarp clip with line to one side of the under quilt then run your line over your ridge line and attach the second clip to the other side of your underquilt.

I decided to take the easy way out of bedding by using a hammock that will keep my precious floor space open for other cool things, or for abosolutely nothing.

Stealth camper van update

Ford Transit 250 cargo mat install

The cargo mat flooring that I purchased on Amazon has arrived, and has been installed in my Ford Transit 250.  

​

The cargo mat came rolled up so it had a memory in the foam when I took it out of the box.   I ended up using some 3M 90 adhesive to make sure that there was no warping.

Drilling into my stealth camper van

Drilling into metal

My first experience screwing into metal didn't go as well as I had hoped.   I used these wood to metal screws, but I am pretty sure I need a center punch, and a metal bit to drill pilot holes.  

​

Not to self, drill slow!

Ford transit 250 custom cargo panels

Custom Ford Transit 250 148" cargo panels

I spent my day at the Pittsburgh Tech shop fiddling with vcarve pro so I can CNC route custom panels for the inside of my van.   Yesterday was a frustrating bust, but I made some great progress today.   Note to self, get all the measurements you need the first time.
