When I arrive at the scene, we will go over the how the item was lost so we can determine which area where to start medal detecting first.    

 

Do you charge if you can't find the item?

 

Unfortunately, I do have to charge for my time, but I will only charge you my standard 1 hour rate.

 

What factors affect the chances of finding my item?

 

The biggest factor affecting the chances of finding your item is knowing 100% that you lost the item in the area.    If you are not sure that you lost the item in the general area, the chances of finding the item are very low.

 

Other items that can affect the chances of finding the item are:

 

• High voltage power lines - They can render medal detectors 100% useless.

• Areas with high amouts of metal trash

• Water -  I currently do not have an  medal detector for water.
